Giveaway: Max Factor Makeup!

*I'm making this post stick, so it will stay on top! Good luck, all!

This is my very first give-away on this blog, so if you've any feedback, let me know!

A while back, I signed up to be a BzzAgent. What that means is they send me cool stuff, and I test it out, and tell people about it.
BzzAgent just sent me this neat box of Max Factor makeup.

From my BzzGuide:

What do you think of when you hear the name Max Factor? For us, before this campaign, it mostly invoked images of Hollywood glitz and glamour — but, we came to find out, we only had it half right!

It's true, Max Factor first earned fame for providing movie stars with makeup essentials, but after almost a century of making women beautiful, it's also become a way to get the inside track on makeup artistry trends in the world of fashion and glamour while also helping women express their own unique and beautiful personalities (you know, what makes you you). Around the Central Hive, we like to think of Max Factor and its brilliant makeup artistry as a beauty-tipping friend who works for Vogue or on the set of Project Runway!

With an extensive line of inventive products in a full range of rich shades and colors – from hot and high-glam to beautifully blended neutrals –Max Factor helps you perfectly capture any look you're going for. Be it business meetings and casual dinners, hot dates and girls' night out or just picking up the kids from school, Max Factor has you covered, sun up to sun down (or sun up to sun up, if that's your thing).

With Lipfinity Lipcolor, you get long-wearing hot, high-glam color that stays with you all day (and into the night). Apply the long-lasting color once for up to 16 hours of color and refresh the shine with the Moisturizing Top Coat as often as you like.

Max Factor's new ColorGenius Mineral Blush contains three complimentary shades that can be beautifully blended to create a customized, healthy looking glow for your skin.

What better way to perfectly apply your ColorGenius Mineral Blush than with the Max Factor Blush Brush? This natural-hair brush gives you remarkable control to blend and apply exactly how you want.

Lash Perfection Volume Couture works with the advanced iFX brush designed to deliver superb volume and lash definition for a look that is big and bold, yet sleek and smooth. We put our old mascaras to the test and were surprised at the results. Discover the difference yourself!

Max Factor make-up is high-quality, without the high-price! You can buy it anywhere, like Wal-Mart or Target, or even their website. Or, you can win it here! I'm giving it to one lucky reader!

What you can win:

1 LipFinity Lipstick in color 016 - Glowing.

1 ColorGenius Mineral blush in color 100 - Roses.

1 Color Genius Blush Brush

1 Lash Perfection Volume Couture Mascara in 801 - Rich Black.

How to enter:

Go to Max Factor's website. Look around, and come back here with a comment, telling me something you learned there, whether it be about a product, a make-up tip, or how to get Carmen Electra's look. This nets you one entry.

For a second optional entry, Blog about this giveaway! Leave a separate comment with your blog entry link, so I can see your blog!

Make sure you leave your email address or some way of contacting you if you win. If after 3 days of my contacting you, you haven't claimed it, I'll draw a new name.

This contest runs through Midnight (okay, 11:59pm) pacific time, August 30th, 2008. No entries will be considered after that point. This giveaway is only open to residents of the United States, please.

I signed up to BzzAgent 3 years ago and have not received a single campaign. I don't even bother checking anymore, they were suppose to send some sort of starter kit when I first signed up and I didn't get anything. I even emailed them a couple of times to ask them why I didn't get it and why I don't get any campaigns and nobody would reply to me. Yet some people get lots of campaigns...I don't get it!?

I hope you have better luck with them then I did, I was so excited about doing it when I signed up so was really disappointed when it led to nothing.

I have enjoyed many, many things from bzzagent. They have been a bit slow lately but I can't count the products I have had the pleasure of enjoying and passing onto others.

From Max Factor: Sweep brush across your blush pan and tap off excess, then apply. For a luxe look, clean your blush brush regularly with a mild shampoo and conditioner.

I knew about cleaning the brushes but not with BOTH shampoo and conditioner!

Bet you didn't think you would get so many comments from fellow BzzAgents. I am way behind when it comes to the makeup world so nearly everything on the Max Factor site was new to me. I would love to try out this makeup kit so I hope to be the lucky one to win it from you. I think your blog site it really well done!

I'm certainly not a supermodel, but sometimes I like to use my make-up in a way that will make me look special for some event. The Max Factor site provides tips and guidelines on just how to get that special look.

I learned a lot of makeup tricks from Pat McGrath who is a makeup artist and is featured on the Max Factor website. The best tip she taught me was step by step instructions on how to create a Vera Wang look using Max Factor makeup. I have always loved the designs Vera Wang creates and I thought it would be fun to try out a makeup "look" for myself inspired by Vera Wang! I am so glad I learned about these tips, because you can also learn to create looks inspired by Calvin Klein, Donna Karen, and many others! I truly enjoy experimenting with makeup and I love to constantly reinvent my "looks" and keeping those around guessing what I will do next!

I've been using Max Factor products for years and am impressed with how they keep evolving and making better products. I've not used their concealer before but will have to try it after learning that it has a nice creamy matte finish.
